Christmas Day Menu 2009 £55.00 per person
The four course Christmas Day menu comprising of starter, main course, dessert,
coffee and home made shortbread.
STARTERS
TOMATO AND CLARET SOUP
Freshly made from local produce and served with home made bread roll and butter
BABY BEETROOT SALAD
served on a bed of mixed leaves and rocket, With spiced walnuts and goats cheese
toast
SMOKED SEA TROUT
smoked in our own smoker with apple wood, served with a blackberry dressing and
home made granary bread
GARLIC MUSHROOMS
Button mushrooms cooked with shallots, crispy bacon and garlic, Then simmered in
red wine
MAIN COURSES
XMAS FEAST
Tender slices of turkey breast, loin of Pork and sirloin beef with chipolata sausage
wrapped in bacon, apple rings served with bread sauce
BARBARY DUCK
Barbary Duck braised with shallots and sliced oranges served with sticky kumquat
and brandy sauce
CAMEMBERT AND HERB CROQUETTES
Bound with creamed potato rolled in bread crumbs and oats sauteed with a redcurrant
and apple sauce
WHOLE LEMON SOLE
fresh lemon sole grilled with a lemon parsley butter and home made tartar sauce

Christmas Pudding and brandy sauce

All children 10 and under £30.00.
Deposit £15.00 per person required to confirm reservation, non refundable,
by 31st October 2009. Payment in full by 30th November 2009. Completed Pre-order
all courses to be with us by 15th December 2009.

The three course Christmas party menu consisting of starter, main course, and dessert
will be available both lunch time and evening (Monday to Friday only on pre-orders)
between 1-12-09 until 22-12-09.
Bookings are essential and a pre order of your requirements will be required five
days before your party. A 20% deposit is required to secure a booking.
